    Sounds Head in Cockpit

    Let's assume we're in an A320. Could the following sounds be heard from the cockpit when the engines are not running?

    -Break fans
    -PTU (when it's doing it's little barking thing)
    -APU
    -Flaps in motion
    -Gear in motion
    -Aircraft doors (cabin or cargo) being opened or closed

    I think you can hear the PTU from the cockpit even with the engines off. For example, having external power, the yellow hidraulical pump may be running, in this case we would have 3000psi only in the yellow hidraulic system. If we need also hidraulical pressure in the green system, the PTU will work to presurize it!
