    TCAS altitude settings

What's the best altitude setting for PM for TCAS.
I've tried to change the .ini file of the PFD but it keeps on resetting to
    0.

I think having tcas traffic 30.000 feet below is not real

    Kind regards,

    Greg.

No, it isn't, but some enjoy it. It should certainly not
reset to 0 and I will check. The TCAS is on the operating
    table in general right now.

    Hello,
It isn't only a matter of distance, but also if the aircraft is in a
    collision course.
For exemple when both aircraft are flying level with an different of 1000 ft

(rvsm) no confict may come up in the TCAS. But when one of the aircraft is
in a collision course at 1000ft , then of course the traffic alert has to
    function.

    Hi,

as I wrote, I am working on the TCAS II implementations, the
sounds will be entirely different then.

    Ciao

Problem solved by unlocking the screen.
I have noticed that more problems are related to screen position locks, but
can be solved when you first unlock the screen setting then make the changes
    in the .ini file.

    Regards,

    Greg.

Unlocking the screen solved the TCAS altitude setting?
