row of inputs problem
Recently I got 1 USB Expansion card and 2 Master cards
I use connectors J1 and J2 to connect the two Master cards
As you can see in the attached picture, a row of inputs are always on!
(2,11,20,29,38,47,56,65)
note: nothing is connected on the cards
The same results when I connect just one card (any of the two)
So I cannot use 9 inputs within each group but 8
Do I have to replace my USB card?

Re: row of inputs problem
Have you connected a 5V supply to the master cards?

Re: row of inputs problem
Yes I have
I tested with and without 5V supply but makes no difference
The USB card was working perfectly and the problem with J1 port started suddenly

Re: row of inputs problem
A bit strange that those inputs represent the first input no of each of the groups of J3 and J4 of the master card which is connected to J1 of the USB expansion card.
If you swap the master cards on J1 and J2 of the USB does the fault only appear on the card connected to J1 of the USB?

Re: row of inputs problem
The expansion card has this problem no matter which master card is connected in J1 port
So there is no need to check the master cards
I am sure It is due to shortcircuit as I suspected from the beginning
I have contacted with OC support and I am going to send the USB card for replacement
Thank you geoff
