My attempt at a glare shield
So everyone on here is far more advanced than me right now, but I am feeling pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish. I set out to build a glare shield to house all of my panels and what not, and was pretty please with the turn out. I have two home built panels for Autopilot and GPS (designed by Mark Hurst at Almost Aviation). I also integrated an old android tablet running the FSRadioPanel app that syncs to FSX. Other than that I have my Saitek yoke, throttle, and switch panel integrated as well. I will be mounting my TrackIR camera to the front of the dash as well.
You'll notice in my pic I have Saitek x52 HOTAS mounted to my chair. This isn't technically part of the sim, its more because this is my little gaming "pod" so I use the HOTAS for elite dangerous.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it!! There are two links, one for the finished product, and the other for the step by step progression of the build.
