How to interface a real attitude indicator / airspeed?

Hello everyone! Thinking of starting a new 737-2 project soon, and before I go out and impulse buy everything , I was wondering if someone can guide me how to hook up a real attitude and airspeed indicator from a 737. And no, I have no experience with servo's, interfacing.. Thanks everyone & happy flying!

But don't you already have an MD-80 MIP? Sounds pretty counterproductive to let that go to waste.

    Hello !

If you want to use real instruments you have to either use synchro transmitters, hooked up to rc servos or stepper motor. Sioc can be used (open cockpit) to drive them.

Or using a digital to an analog converter , were you have to generate the signal for the instruments .

i would not advise converting the instruments because it usually does not end in a realistically moving instrument ........

its not easy but has the best outcome !

Re: How to interface a real attitude indicator / airspeed?

    Hi,

can you tell me something more about "
hooked up to rc servos or stepper motor
    "?

I'm trying to implement a real HSI with a bunch of Synchros in it. I'm using IOCards for controlling my pit.
Is there a way to connect these synchros with the USBServoModule of Opencockpits.

I've read it somewhere that a guy called Boullu Guy has proposed this but I can't reach him.

If someone can tell me if it is possible to connect a synchro with IOcards I would be be intrested.

Other possibility for me is covveting with Arduino but this isn't easy as well it seems.

    Seeya
