    Re: Force Feedback Motors

There may be a solution to use high torque brushless Servomotors fr Control-Loading/FFB soon. We are working on this for some weeks now and hope to start testing with a first setup today or tomorrow.

Zsadal, feel free to contact me if you want more Information.

    Hi Marcel,

thanks for the reply. So how did the tests go. Any update on it. Would be really nice to hear an affordable way to have FFB for small GA aircrafts.

    Waiting .....

    Regards,
    Zahid

    Re: Force Feedback Motors

    Hello Zahid,

We got the motor working and were able to simulate a spring centering. Unfortunately the XP-Force Plugin did not work, so no signals arrived from X-Plane. I hope that I may test with FSX next week.

This is just a one axis test setup with a small motor. We have to order larger motors and additional driver cards in the next week. But now I am pretty confident to get a FFB simulation - not cheap - but affordable and powerful.

The encoder of the test motor has a resolution of "only" 4000 points per turn. And you can use it directly as axis for the simulator. No need for additional sensors and hardware. Actual encoders do feature 10.000 points up to 2.000.000 points per turn.

    Greetings,

    Marcel
