    Re: Generic Analog Gauges

I mainly use the engine gauges, fuel, amps. Not the flight instruments. But I use dual gauges for the King Air, so it is many gauges.
Refresh rate is not a very big issue, since these are one of few gauges that actually have a decent turboprop instrument in a network enviroment. It is very stable software, not a crash or freeze once. Thanks again!

If you ever would do some refactoring one the gauge code, then perhaps...

Thanks JH I got them working on FSX now. I forgot that FSUIPC also needed WideFS on the client side. I am probably going to concentrate on FSX rather than FS9 from now for several reasons - among them is that I find your A320 FMGS easier to manage under the built-in SimConnect.

    Re: Generic Analog Gauges

Is there a method by which one can dial in VOR and ADF frequencies without using a Radio Stack on the FSX host computer? Of course one can hit C for Comms frequency and =/- key for increase/decrease and CC for decimal; similarly with N and NN for Nav frequencies, X for switching standby. But how does one know what frequencies are set - is it possible to read the frequencies on a Client PC?

    Hi,

You have to use FSUIPC offsets for that, eventually using wideFS on the remote computer.

I've just found FSRemote, which more than does the job for me FS Remote 2.0 for FSX (unfortunately The Gauge Factory gauges give an inconsistent display on my iPad using AirDisplay).

    Re: Generic Analog Gauges

    Hello,
I have been building now on my Beech Baron 58 FSX Home Cockpit for a year and the result feels quite amazing. But now I wanted to change it into a turbprop and have been looking for months for the instrument gauges - very difficult to find.

Your system is really amazing. Unfortunately my already drilled holes for the instrument gauges are not that large and your instruments tend to be not any more readable when you resize them to 3 cm in size.Is there a chance that you go for a new release or have some other tricks?

And if you happen to look for new gauges to build - I would be very very happy to get my hands on a wet compass - have not find anything yet to be used over wideFS. Would appreciate that very much!

    Best regards from Vienna
    Alfred

    Hello

I'm sorry but I dropped all support and enhancements on this software which is "as is" now.

You may want to try those:

Thanks, I can understand. Gaugesfactory is just wonderful, but I can not use the engine gauges for the King Air,so have to find something different.
