Is there a way to use phidgets to recognize progressive braking in FS9?
thanks,

Eric,
What is it exactly you want to do with regard to progressive braking ?
Is there an FSUIPc offset for what you want to do ?
Regards,
Alan.

Thanks!
I would like to have a phidgets card read the changes (pressure) put on the brake pedals as progressive instead of full braking power all at once. An example would be like how the auto brake works. It has different levels of braking instead of just one continuous level. AS for FSUIPC, not sure. Just wondering if anyone here knows.
BTW, I would like to ask which would be the best solution for a rudder pedal system- The functions needed will be
1 slide pot for left/right
2 micro switches for brakes OR 2 slide pots for brakes, if progressive braking is possible in FS. According to the product description of a similar system to mine at www.flightlink.com (jet rudder module) it has progressive braking.
thanks,
Eric

Eric,
Gotcha.
You want to connect pot to brake pedals as opposed to a microswitch.
Not a problem.
Have a look at FSUIPC offsets for Brakes.
Assign that offset to pot connected to Phidget analog input and calibrate.
Set up I have on my sim.
Chief pilot smacks me on back of head if I apply full brakes immediately on landing.
Passengers don't like it and bumps up maintenance costs.

Alan.

Thanks, so it IS possible with Phidgets then? Thanks! I guess I just use the slider pot connected to the brake pedal travel, then assign, then calibrate.
