phidgets newbie
hello my fellow builders , i have purcahsed the 0/16/16 and the 8/8/8 .
im now ready to set it up, im using the level d 767, im a little confused on how to set it up, i have down loaded the phidgets software and at this moment , on the 8/8/8 i have a toggle switch hooked into the ground and 0 input. im sure there is more to do here , im just running test right now.
i always said that when i get to the point that im ready to set it up i will make the battery switch the official starting point so the question that i have is how do i make this happen.
so i have the toggle switsh in my hand and if i switch it to on i want the battery switch to move on also in the level d 767.
Thanks...........Mr. Midnight

Have you read the excellent FS2Phidget manual? That is still the best way to get started. You will find many answers in there & in more detail than what you will likely get in the forum. Do some of the examples in the manual and you will quickly find it's a lot easier than you imagined (at least for the most common & easy assignments)

Mr. Midnight,
Welcome to the wonderful world of cockpit building! I too reccommend the manual as the real starting place.
I'd also suggest that you start out trying things on somethiong OTHER than the Level D aircraft. The reason for this is that for some of the highly complex aircraft like the PMDG and the LEvel D (I think) a lot of the aircraft systems have been done in "non standard" ways. So it MIGHT make it a tad more difficult for the first try. But I am not sure ....since I don't own that aircraft.
The master battery switch SHOULD be an easy one since it is a toggle on / off situation.
best,
