    Aircraft ZFW

    Hi,

Can anyone using the latest build tell me where PM Inst gets the aircraft nett and ZFW weights from?

I have a good FS airfile, CDU type file. with all the correct data, but PM Inst does not show the nett or ZFW, hence GW, although the fual and load weights are shown correctly.

Do'nt you have to type it manually in the CDU, taking it from the aircraft doc or file ?

    Hi,

I am not at the sim this week, but I'm pretty sure that even with the ZFW correctly input to the CDU, along with fuel weights from the file, and reserves, no ZFW appears in Instructor station.

If I am not mistaken it pulls it from the aircraft.cfg file. Whatever you have input there (EMPTY WEIGHT) Thats where the number comes from.
