He had several medical conditions that forced him to return back to work and basically give up the simulation business

Ken is still answering emails posted from his site. Though as noted, the sim business is on hold.

Ken is a tremendously talented inventor/developer. I'm so impressed with the few items he manufactured. I was in full support in his newly found Enterprise.
I was fortunate enough to work with him in the development of the Airbus Flap panel, fully functional, and ended up buying one, it is one of my prized possessions in my cockpit.
I hope all his well with him and hope he returns to the Flight-Sim Builders industry

I feel the same way Matt, I wish him the best. I meet him and Eric two years ago at the Denver IFC convention.

Hi Again Everyone
Hi All -
So nice to hear a few kind words again...and here goes some
answers to all your questions.
First, DakenSkys is NOT out of business...only in a slight
"holding pattern"
Yes, I had some medical problems, and yes again, I had to
return to the 9 to 5 work day and take a new job out of state.
Two kids in college at the same time is **** on the 'ol bank
account!
We've had our house for sale for over a year and as the real
estate biz is very slow and kinda shaky, it just sat while all
my equipment was packed up, and I worked 100 miles away,
only able to see the wife on the weekends.
Well...the house finally sold, and the move will be in about
1 1/2 weeks now. Then the fun begins in finding a suitable
home for us and of course DakenSkys!
In the mean time, I've been gathering info and materials to
be able to build better and less expensive parts but at no
sacrifice to my high standards of quality and excellence.
I am hopeful to be able to "open the old Hangar" in the very
near future.
In the meantime, please feel free to e-mail me at Daken@optonline.net at any time.
A Big Thanks...
Ken
