New BU0836X from Leo Bodnar
yes i know we all use the BU0836, but have you seen the new BU0836X? no more soldering matrix boards and no working out is this the row or the column. simple push fits neatly labelled. and it can accept encoder inputs as well. i've died and gone to heaven.
works really well with the Opencockpits CTS288 encoder. here's the EFIS I made for the PMDG test rig http://www.737ng.co.uk/EFIS_BU0836_HOWTO.pdf.
we're onto a winner here
regards to everyone..... ian

Now that is innovative. Having spent hours building my own connection card for both Leo's and Opencockpit joysticks and interfaces, I would much rather pay for this simple solution. I'm gonna have to get me one!
Perhaps there should be an annual (or monthly?) award for the most helpful and cost effective flightsim addition?? I know there would be a host of contenders along with this one.
Ken.

Cant find it on Leo's site. Am I going blind or is this a future item?

Cheers Ian, just working out my next phase and will need an interface for it. As I am still at the pen and paper stage for next cockpit I have the time to wait for him to get into full swing
Still looks great, and the rotary encoder support will be very useful.
