AUTO/BRK MAX Switch question
Hello Roberto.
I have just watched a small video of an A320 taking off.
Can you confirm the observation which I think I have just seen:
The AUTO/BRK MAX is armed at takeoff (blue annunciator light).
It then looked as though the AUTO/BRK MAX disarmed automatically shortly after takeoff.
Did I see this correctly?
If so, I'll email the AST guys to reprogramme their software. As it stands, you have to disarm the AUTO/BRK MAX yourself.
All the best,
Darren Sugden

Hi therre,
Yupe you are right basically after Gear up it disamrs it self when you disarm the Ground spoilers... The Flow is:
Positive Climb, Gear Up... Ground spoilers Disarm and then taxi and Runway Turnoff lights off...
Arming the Autobrake in MAX is part of the TO Config mode of the plane where yo have to arm it in order to abort a takeoff in case of an emergency you DO NOT disarm it your self by 磒ressing the Switch itself but by pushing the ground spoilers lever down.
Regards,
Roberto
