Ask Trevor Anything
Hey there everyone,
I want to hear from you.
I can't build the best Flight simulator site alone, and I need your help! Lets pull together, Make suggestions and report bugs here, and lets see if we can't get the site where it needs to be now, and into the future.
Ask me anything, and I will see what I can do.
Best regards,

Hi Trevor,
Q1 How come you haven't seen my recent private messages? One was asking where the chatroom has gone and the other was where has "private messages gone", (it has now come back I see).
It's hard to keep up with all of these daily changes!!!
Q2 What's it like being cockpit free? (The horror is hard to imagine!!!)

In the form of a question....
Would it be possible to make a F.A.Q. section or a "sticky" series at the "top" of the forums, covering the most frequently asked questions about the forums' respective topics? One could categorize the F.A.Q.s' as; Visuals, Networking, Payware, Freeware, FSWUIPC (including a link to the FSUIPC PDF)....etc. On a side note, I'm not sure it has been mentioned here but this is a literal goldmine of simulator knowledge, truly the best site I have come across in countless hours of research. Many new members are asking questions I have seen since I have been on the site, and I see they don't get answered as quick as when I joined.

'Ask me anything' he said....
Why is the answer 42 and what has Zaphod Beeblebrox to do with it? And on a bit different tack, do you keep your towel handy?God's in command, I'm just the Pilot.

ak49er,
With so many postings as the forum grows, its difficult to answer all the new ones.
The idea above about having a FAQ section for each of the main aspects of cockpit building is a great idea.
We could also have a letter sent to each new member as they sign up that explains where to find the FAQ and how to use it.God's in command, I'm just the Pilot.

The suggestions so far are good, mainly about the FAQ. There are so many newbies to this wonderful hobby- meaning the hobby is growing by LEAPS and BOUNDS it appears, and so I am glad to say that MC.org is probably the BEST place to get as much info from one stop. I for one would like to see more info from PM team members, but I understand that they have a response system in place and it's not a MC.org issue.
More than anything Trevor, (and Matt, Bob, Larry, et al.), MC.org is really a true goldmine as others have put it, that has not only a very welcoming atmosphere, but also a feeling of real community where new folks as well as veterans can come to find answers, share the good and the bad of building, and learn aspects of the hobby that maybe they've never been introduced to. Thanks for having this site and for all the time put into making it work!
