I am referring to the edge of the glareshield that meets the window glass. The screenshot I'm referring to is from FSX. (Somehow it didn't get posted.) It looks as though it is above the bottom of the window glass (ie. lower window frame is not visible.

    Thanks

Here are two views of the glare from the outside of the cockpit.

On the second one in particular you can see that the glare sits just below the level of the front windows. This makes sense as you want as much window as possible. The grey around the windows in the outside views is the black area on the very bottom of the windows in this picture

    Hope this helps.

    Tom.

Thanks very much for the photos.

I am probably agonizing a bit much over these, but here is what I have come up with for measurements. I am hoping I am in the ballpark.

Overhang MIP face to front MCP panel -26 cm
MCP face to back of center window post 42 cm
Height of window post from flight deck floor-100 cm
Front of MIP face to back of center window post 16 cm

I am trying to use Juan Cordon's exterior shell measurements. I will have to add about 4 cm to the window heights to accomodate my MIP stand. It all looks a bit crude, but I wanted to rough it out before making it pretty.

    Do these measurements sound ok?

BTW, I was using Markus Pilot's measuremnts, but his site is no longer working. Are these files available somewhere else? They are said to be quite accurate.

    Thanks

    Got it sorted!

It was only in trying to build the glareshield/windshield that I figured out where I was going wrong. It wasn't a measurement issu, but just a wrong assumption about how it went together.

    Thanks again
