Unstable FD
Hello all,
when i capture a VOR Radial or an ILS localizer, the FD reacts very jumpy.
I cant follow a VOR Radial without AP off, because as soon as i capture the radial, the vertical FD BAR runs very fast to the right, or to the left. I doesn't move as smoothly as i should. I tought it could be a slow network, but this isn't the problem after many performance checks i made.
Any Idea where to search?
Have nice christmas days
Regards
Thomas

Re: Unstable FD
What angle are you intercepting the radial at? At what distance from the navaid?

Re: Unstable FD
Hey Grant,
happy christmas to you and all other members.
I intercept the radial within 20 degrees and direct over the VOR. I case of ILS i intercept it about 20 miles from the runways.

Re: Unstable FD
Hello,
and mary christmas from
germany.
The unstable F/D function is within the latest GC build only. I reverted back to GC build 464 and the F/D is working fine again.

Re: Unstable FD
Hi Brian,
mary christmas to you too...
I allready use the build 464 and i also tried the 462, but the F/D runs away from center-point as soon it is centered for just a half second.
Strange
