Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
hi Fritz,
The YELL ELEC PUMP should not be used with separate Press/release actions.
The software will only work with "released" events in any case. So you NEED a MON-OFF there.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
Hi JL,
then it is probably not caused by the assignment to separate press / release actions, but on the internal logic. I'm using the same switch for yellow elec pump, as for MW / MC and TERR ON ND. Only TERR ON ND display is shown when I push the switch.
So it is shown, if I push the switch and hold it and if I let go, it goes out again.
If the TERR ON ND switch is a MON-OFF then it should be, that TERR ON ND is shown when I press the switch a first time on goes out again if I push a second. Have I understood that correctly?
Regards Fritz

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
I think MON-off switches act like on off switches, but their position does not change, I.e no depressed position when they are pressed.
On the FDS EM1 min-off switches they pop back out when pressed in.Soarbywire - Airbus Flight Simulation and Engineering | Jeehell FMGS - Free professional A320 avionics software for the cockpit enthusiast.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
I still use the FDS - K1 switches. For MON - OFF switches, the spring has to be removed so that the button can no longer engage. This is probably similar to the EM1 switches.
If JL cannot implement the logic to Interface IT Creator I need to wire a relay behind the switch.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
It seems there may be a little bug on the TERR ND buttons. I'll have a look.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
There is an old post by Peter on the FDS forum -- http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/f...0d6502d376e855
You can determine if it an annunciator or trim by looking at the trim of the button. Annunciators have black trim. PB have silver trim -- for example --
You can clearly see the difference between the annunciators (LDG gear - black trim) and auto BRK PB - silver trim.Soarbywire - Airbus Flight Simulation and Engineering | Jeehell FMGS - Free professional A320 avionics software for the cockpit enthusiast.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
In the new version B44 there was no change for the TERR ND buttons. If no changes are planned or is this still follow?

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
Had a chat with a few Airbus pilots the other day - they don't check the Autoland PB as part of their proceedure and it is more for maintenance.
I'm going to rewire the Autoland Korry as switches (they are
MOM for now) because I am short of MOM PBs.Soarbywire - Airbus Flight Simulation and Engineering | Jeehell FMGS - Free professional A320 avionics software for the cockpit enthusiast.

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
Fritz did you try to reassign the switch?

Re: Airbus switches - momentary or toggle?
I had not tried yet. I had reassign the switch now. Will test this on my next flight.
