    Hi Paul,
Thnx, maybe it's the right coupling. I will order one with my next order.
It may take a while because I just recieved my last order to day.
    Best regards

Re: 737 Throttle DC Motor Arduino Software (ATXDC)

    Hey guys,
maybe of interest to Sergio......I ordered 1 DC-motorgear (1:50) and the slip-coupling that was mentioned by Paul.
Yes you can turn the outgoing shaft without doing some harm to the gear. However.....if the motor is going right and you want to turn the shaft to the left, it is better to put the mentioned coupling between your equipment and the DC motor. Otherwise you will surtenly do some harm to the gear.

    Question for Diego:
what type arduino cards did you use? Can you give me some typenumbers or an url to order those cards.

    Best regards
    Derk

    Diego,

Count me in. I am also building a TQ. Thank you for sharing Diego.

I am using photocopier 24V micro clutches.

I have also changed to using Arduino hardware as it is half the price and i can drive all aspects of the TQ including analog and digital inputs, DC motors and servo for spoiler and trim indicators all on the one card. I am really interested if its worth sharing this software with the community or whether everyone has sorted themselves with alternative solutions. Please reply if this software is of interested to you.

    Hello Diego ,

I also am interested in your software ..
Using RSP TQ Sioc version and for a lot of reasons i would like to go for Arduino
As i can see you are testing it on RSP as well , so i will follow the progress of your software

You can drive and can control half decent sized motors (with proper power supply) with an L289N board for Arduino.

Re: 737 Throttle DC Motor Arduino Software (ATXDC)

what types of Dc motors did you use and do you have a photo of how you hooked them up. I have the entire DC-10 pedestal and i'm trying to figure out how to interface the motors with the Auto throttle and auto spoiler. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: 737 Throttle DC Motor Arduino Software (ATXDC)

    Hi Diego
I am also very interested in your Arduino program, I started on my 737 simulator and has to build my own throttle quadrant, I also use Arduino for the rest of my interface of the cockpit
Thank you for making it possible for us, who do not have much knowledge about programming.
