Re: B737 Gear lever
I just copied this design today and i'm well pleased with the result, Thanks a million Gwyn. Got my first annunciators working on the mip too as i wired a battery circuit into the gear up/down led's and connected them to the micro switches.
Now all i need is the gear knob to crown it all. (its in the post)

Thanks,

Re: B737 Gear lever
Hi Markus
It's not the easiest thing to measure, but here goes:
Diameter of wheel = 36mm
Thickness of wheel = 14mm
Length of thicker shaft attached to wheel = 27mm (from where it leaves the thinner shaft to the point it touches the circumference of the wheel.
Diameter of thicker shaft = 22mm
Length of main (thinner) shaft = 55mm from when it protrudes the MIP (68mm total length)
Diameter of main shaft = 20mm
Trigger is 22mm deep and is 30mm from MIP
If I've missed any, let me know.
Sean

Re: B737 Gear lever
I do not need them all. These are just pictures Open cockpits Gear Leveller, it seems so hard to build yourself.

Re: B737 Gear lever
Aerosim will soon be supplying B737 gear lever handles aswell as full sets of B737 and B777 TQ handles. I already have the B777 Pitch & Trim molds completed and ready for sale, these are the first available anywhere I believe!
Cheers Gwyn

Re: B737 Gear lever
Can somebody supply a schematic drawing of the Engravity and/or OpenCockpits gear lever mechanics?
I've sofar all the materials and want to re-design my existing lever and replace it with the improved one. After redesign i can share the drawings here.
Thanks in advance,
Bas
