Re: A320 FMGS beta 2
Great job!!! You think use FSUIPC offset to use your software with hardwares like Opencockipts, FSBUS and etc?

Re: A320 FMGS beta 2
Hi,
There are already a good numbers of offsets available, which covers most of the FCU and MCDU swithces and leds. I do use them with opencockpits without problems. Check the readme file in the archive.

Re: A320 FMGS beta 2
A little preview of the EGPWS function:
I still need to tweak it a little bit as it's quite hungry in terms of CPU (even on a quadcore 2.8GHZ), but the graphic result feels not that bad to me...
I'll keep you advised on any progress..

A320 FMGS beta3
Hello,
You can now download the latest beta. A320FMGS_B3.1.zip
What's new:
-GPWS callouts
-EGPWS display on ND ("Terrain ahead" callouts not implemented yet)
-TCAS callouts (limited to "Traffic" x 2, "Climb" x 2 and "Descend" x 2)
-Fixed few bugs as usual (particularly the one which prevented TOD calculation)
Next things I intend to do:
-A real user guide
-Maybe Suggy Brake pressure gauge (in the standby instruments package)
-Thinking about a general aviation full glass system, G1000 or Avydine's style.
-don't know yet any ideas??

Re: A320 FMGS beta3
Thanks for the kind word, but unfortunately I do not envision to create a Boeing version. The very reason I chose Airbus is that I had the chance to spend several hours on an A320 procedure trainer as a part of my studies. And even with beforehand basic knowledge of the FMGS, I still have to study the FCOM a LOT to model systems as close to the real thing as I want. So moving to Boeing would take too much time that I don't have as a freeware designer (I also have a life and a job )
Maybe one day, in the very distant future if I ever can finish the airbus version, but I really don't want to give you false hopes

Hello,
I've just finished the English version of the user's guide, along with a new version correcting minor bugs I found during the writing of the guide.
