    Airbus

Actually the Push and Pull on the Real Airbus has very little travel...

If you can afford it... it for sure worth every penny..
the lcd is great. the buttons are of very high quality with nice backlight and
the green indicator is not lighted by the backlight. The dual rotarys (like the 100/1000
selection and on the pressure) are there. The only thing I did not like that much was the
feeling on the push/pull, very little travel (dont know either how this is in the real cockpit)
    Overall... WOW

    Thank you for the compliments

For now it works with Project Magenta, But the AST guys were at the Aviodrome show too, and it looks like that will work too.

Since the unit is fully configurable it can work with desktop software too through direct access, but no plans have been made yet in that direction, but never know what the future will bring. Basically anything is possible.

Price for FCU and Both EFIS will be € 1549

Guys, I dont really care too much for Airbus aircraft (but we all know that in reality, even though we have preferences, we love almost ANY thing that flies!) but this Airbus gear looks incredible. I am happy to see it coming out, and the great looking NG stuff too.

Congrats to the two companies making a great team effort.

Just one thing I notice on the Pics Is not that important and probably is a software Issue... But on the EFIS panel you can only Select one option either Ariport or VOR or NDB or waypoint but not 2 at a same time!

    Regards,

    Roberto

When i took the picture the unit was in testmode and only connected to power and not to PM.
In test mode you can press every key to light the annunciations. We just pressed some keys to show the annunciation and show there is no light bleeding.
In fact in this mode i could have lit up all the pushbuttons, but just pressed some random keys.

A pro like you sees that immedeately Anyway....its not a bug, but just me having lit up some keys randomly

I have to admit that both the Airbus and the Boeing parts look better actually in the flesh , those photos dont do them justice, I only wish that you do a 747MCP aswell, i think i would of taken 1 home with me if you did.

The quality and the feel of them had me convinced that they were actually the real life counterparts,

Just one question I forgot to ask, on the Airbus FCU was that the real LCD as used on the real thing?

    Top Job, Well done guys!!

    Thank you for the compliments

The LCD display is a custom made LCD, replicating all text and annunciating modes. Even the large dots are displayed.

Not the real display from the real aircraft. That would have made the unit unaffordable
But i will take it as a very big compliment

Too bad we didnt get to talk to eachother. (at least i think we didnt talk to eachother)
