Fil, you are right again. But it doesn't explain the fact (have a look again on Miguel's screenshots) that ATHR doesn't reduce N1 even if it's indicated by the blue arcs! Why does N1 stay at 43 %? To my mind that is the main aspect of Miguel's problem - and mine as well (from time to time). Sometimes I assume that some specific weather conditions may have an influence on this item.

    Re: A320 FMGS B44

ren as already answered i don't know....
maybe jl fmgs can't work properly being the condition such abnormal.
i don't even know if the real aircraft would do that or not because a pilot would never bring the aircraft is such a situation!
all i can say is that in all the approaches i flown, with a correctly configurated aircraft, i never experienced such problems.
logic hidden behind a complex feature like a-thr, especially in a complex aircraft like a 320 (just thing for example at the ground speed mini logic which is perfectly modelled in JL soft), may be very hard to be achieved in a simulator and are maybe based on the correct configuration of the aircraft as it should be expected from a pilot.
we should correctly understand the aircraft logics and fly it in the correct way if we want it to react and behave as expected.
wind may be a factor ren but in ben's situation it was a head wind of 6kt which is like flying in wind calm conditions (wind is considered calm at or below 5kt)
    cheers
    fil

Yes, VNAV managed descend and constrain calculation is not yet 100% correct with Jeehell FMGS and even with real aircraft.
So we should always ready for the vertical speed manually / OP Des with selected speed for the approach (also that is the job of pilot in real life as Fil mentioned )

I think it will take a long time for JL to fix this. But hope it will be done soon.

To JL: As I remember you said that the value in AP/FBW has 0 impact...however I played with it and found that,
    - if both slide to full left, then the stick very very sensitive
    - if both slide at 0, the stick (Logitech) still a little over sensitive.
    - if both slide at around + 13->15, then the result is acceptable. movement is so smooth, I did not get floating when flare anymore

fil, I haven't expected you to find an explanation to this item I think it will be hard to find one. With my posts I only wanted to tell Miguel that he doesn't stand alone with this problem - which is noticeable but finally manageable.

    @ masterp
Can't remember that JH said that these values have no impact on the axis. I notice clear variations as well!

    Re: A320 FMGS B44

Thank you for the explanation, Fil and all --

When I was flying against the head wind there were a few 'windshear' alerts as well. I will reattempt the flight.... using all of your advice.

Yes, I would expect the aircraft to drop to idle speed -- I did not have this issue in the past before.

Prior to the ?latest update FMGS will drop to idle speed despite descending at 1000+fpm when approach mode is activated.
