Re: Display bezels 737
Hi Wendy,
You could halve your work by using 6mm PVC sheet! These bezels take me about 12 minutes to machine, I remove the shine with 400 wet and dry, clean with prepsol and paint then paint them with epoxy enamel. This is about 20 minutes for each piece, the bottom strip with the hinge is a seperate piece which is a 5 minute cut. I intend to mount my monitor control strips under the hinged piece, when the LCD monitors are removed from there casings the control PCB and buttons come out aswel and it is easy to relocate, this solves the issue of adjusting monitors easily!!
Cheers Gwyn

Re: Display bezels 737
Hi everyone,
Just wondered if anyone would be willing to let me have a copy of the GCode or LCam file so I can make my own- i have just bought a small 300x400mm CNC and am running mach 3. - I quite understand if you dont want to part with the code as I know it takes a lot of work but if you can help me out that would be great.
cheers
Steve

Re: Display bezels 737
Hey Gwyn,
Well that's also the way I do it. Except I use 9 mm so that they are sunking into the MIP (3 mm taken away on the back of the bezel). That way you will see 6 mm. on top of the MIP but but on the inside they are 9 mm. which brings them closer to the monitor.
