Re: A320 FMGS B31
Hi Stefan
Or rather heard from the company where I bought my cockpit modules.
The company always keep me posted on the newest state of JH, because I used the system for me.

Re: A320 FMGS B31
Hi
Alan, what computers are you using? Did you try to fly? Successfully or not?
Regarding B32, yes it's coming out soon, probably tomorrow. Not sure about the revolutions Rigo has heard about, but there are some changes. MAinly APFBW reworked a little bit (Flare law), and instruments application have had internal changes to fix some issues with dimming, XFR, etc...
Regards,
JL

Re: A320 FMGS B31
Hi JL,
Thanks for your reply. FMGS server runs on my desktop PC and the client runs on a laptop via WideFS, quad core and dual core CPU's, respectively. I can successfully fly but due to the time lag between my joystick inputs and when the PFD actually displays the inputs, I end up chasing the FD cues and therefore my PX must feel like they are on a rollercoaster ....I believe it should be a lot smoother based on videos that other builders here have presented.
It just seems that something is interfering with the command inputs to slow it down...but I can't figure out what it might be. Could FSUIPC be a possible cause? I did revert back to v4.60 because I read that's the only one you could support for the offsets.
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Alan

Re: A320 FMGS B31
If you use FSX, FSUIPC is not required at all.
Make sure you have installed the same version on all computers. Also, if you did use auto update on one computer, make sure you did taht on the others as well.
On a wired network, there should not be that much lag indeed...
Check the CPU usage of each application in the task manager.

Re: A320 FMGS B31
Flare mode was included for at least a couple years. Was just not perfect. And here I talk about the manual flare law, not the autoland FLARE, which actually should be working realtively correctly. What's not so good during autoland is rollout mode.

Re: A320 FMGS B31
Thanks for the update JH.
Anyone having issues with managed mode and speeds (not keeping to the programmed MCDU speeds) when landing? I have tried lowering my flaps, but I get warnings (speed, speed) and the autopilot disconnects (AP1 and 2 are engaged).
I am in approach phase and the aircraft does not slow down. I have to manual select speed (right click), and then put the plane in manage mode (left click) again before speed decreases.

Re: A320 FMGS B31
Descent to Approach You must Activate and Confirm Approach on PERF DES page. This will drive managed speed to approach speed.
Wait until the plane slowed to the VFE NEXT. Set flaps to the next position.
It must work properly

Re: A320 FMGS B31
i do confirm ben: everything is working fine about speeds during approach as long as u perform it as prescribed.
...i totally understand u because i've been a "boeing owner" for long time....the point is just entering the airbus style
...fcom and fctm are your friends!
