Programme Start Order

Hello,

I am having a problem with the FS2Phidgets (FS2P) programme I think. When starting the programme it does not always 'see' the Phidget card.

Currently I start the Phidget21 programme with Windows, so it is running before FS2P. I start FS2P along with Prosim 737 before FSX. I then start FSX.

Whether I use the above process or stop and restart FS2P after FSX has started or just start FS2P after FSX has started it usually (8 times out of 10) does not see the Phidget card.

Also, it is difficult to shutdown the programme. I usually have to get windows to force a shutdown upon closing Windows otherwise I cannot close FS2P. It is also difficult to maximise FS2P after minimising.

I have read the manual and searched the forum so apologies if this issue has been reported and resolved.

I am running the latest version of FS2P, FSUIPC, Win 7 64 bit, FSX with acceleration. FS2P is running on the FSX server machine.

Does your Phidgets Control Panel see your Phidget card?
What type of Phidget is this?
Which version of FS2PH? Version 4 or Version 5?
Other users had reported simliar shutdown problem. They were using script to start suite of programs.
Never found out what problem was.
Not sure if users resolved problem or tried another product.

Does your Phidgets Control Panel see your Phidget card? Yes, so does Prosim 737
What type of Phidget is this? LED 64 Advanced
Which version of FS2PH? Version 4 or Version 5? Version 5

I usually use Alacrity PC to start programmes, simply because it is a one click start and I can shutdown antivirus etc. with that one click.

However, the problem with PS2PH persists whether I start the programmes manually or with Alacrity PC. It persists even if I only launch FS2PH.
