Collimated display needs a new home
I find this very painful to write. The first DIY collimated display, lovingly built by Geneb and myself, must find a new home. I'm relocating shortly, and there is a good chance that my new home may not have the space to house the display. For this reason, I'm making it available for free to anyone who wants to come to Auburn, WA and pick it up.
If I can't bring it with me and I can't find a new home for it, it will be dismantled and sent to the landfill. Please don't make me do that.
If you're interested, please contact me as soon as possible, availability may only be a couple of weeks.
Here's the build thread for more info:

(There should be a post up in classifieds soon)
*Note: The three projectors are not included, but may be available for purchase.Last edited by wledzian; 03-30-2017 at 01:48 PM. Reason: Add details

Re: Collimated display needs a new home
I haven't found a new house yet, and don't want to limit my options based on the extra garage space I'd need, and even if I do find the perfect home with room for it, I've been quoted over $10,000 to crate and ship it, $2500 if I crate it myself.

What happened to Gene? I haven't seen anything from him for some time.
What are the overall dimensions?

Re: Collimated display needs a new home
I'm still around. Wayne was able to make shipping arrangements providing he got it crated up. He got that handled and the display will be trundling its way to his new home soon. With any luck the shippers won't damage it in transit. He's got space to have room to move around in the new house as well.

Re: Collimated display needs a new home
The display made its way safely to its new home, and at a significantly lower cost than expected. For the time being, it will live in the safety of its crate, until the rest of our belongings can be unpacked. Huge thanks to Geneb and my father-in-law for their invaluable help moving from the office to the driveway so it could be crated up.
