    EGPWS terrain data installation

    Hi all

I am trying to enable the ND Terrain data and have already downloaded the data from the USGS site. Following the installation instructions I now, however, seem to have a couple of issues:

The installation instructions indicate that the EGPWS folder should in the ND folder, and the data files should be placed in this folder, but I do not appear to have an ND folder ?

On the forum it also suggested the EGPWS folder may be in the EIS folder but it is not in there either ?

There should also be a file - "EGPWS data extractor.exe" in the folder but this file does not exist on the PC to extract the data ?

Any help on how to proceed would be gratefully received.

    Re: EGPWS terrain data installation

it was irritating to me as well. I guess, the description is not up to date.

In my case, I found the EIS folder directly in the main FMGS folder. But it is only existent on the client pc, on which I installed the PFD/ND modules.

The EIS folder includes the EGPWS folder and the extractor tool.
