Laptops and FS Project
After thinking about my limited space for my project I was trying to figure was of saving space. One thing that takes up a lot of room is the computers. I am looking into using laptop to run most of my project except for the main FS computer.
The prices of laptops have come way down in price and I find many will do OpenGL for Project Magenta. I am looking at some Toshiba 8000 - 9100 series for some uses. These models have composite video out. This may work well for the FDS CDU and PM. With a video spliter i may be able to run 2 CDU's with one computer. Each keyboard should work but both would display the exact same data.
Another advantage besides size is you have a monitor right there for troubleshooting as needed.
Anyone using laptops in their project? Any positive or negative comments would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using an old IBM T20 for a couple of years to run my Project Magenta CDU, although not in OpenGL, but it works just fine.
