How to stick plastic buttons on to tactile switches?

How do the sim builders that make their own radio panels attach button fascias to tactile switches?

From what I see you mount the tactile switch to your circuit board or veroboard, then you put some sort of cap on the tactile switch, and I assume you glue the button fascia to the tactile switch cap?

Am I looking at it the right way?

    Cheers!

Re: How to stick plastic buttons on to tactile switches?

    Hi,

I use a hot glue gun, once the glue has cooled it holds them in place no problem but can be removed cleanly in case any changes are required...

    Cheers
