A320 FMGS B35
Hello all,
I just release the newest version, B35.1:
http://www.jeehell.org/A320FMGS_B35.1.exe
The biggest changes concerns the joystick management. Until now, only 6 axes and 32 buttons could be dectected per controller as I used an older Windows access to the game controllers.
I switched to the DirectInput APi, which nows allows the software to detect joysticks with up to 8 axes and 128 buttons (which I think is the maximum for HID joysticks...).
Previous controllers configurations will be lost. You MUST reconfigure the joysticks before launching the software !!!!
There is STRICTLY NO WAY to keep the old configurations, no need to ask for that.
Update should be working on the update channel as well.
Best regards,

Re: A320 FMGS B35
Hi JeeHell,
thanks for the new version.
The chapter Offset Table and Opencockpits SIOC integration are not included in the new User Guide.
Will there also be a new User Guide for Advanced Users or were there no changes?
Best regards.

Re: A320 FMGS B35
Hi Fritz,
There probably will be a new advanced user guide sometimes in the future.
I will try to quickly make a new offset table (maybe by tomorrow). They haven't changed though, so if you have an old user guide with the table inside it still fits (I think there is one on Ben's website).
Regards,
JL

Hi,
The FSUIPC offsets table: http://www.jeehell.org/Offsets.pdf
As a reminder, you need FSUIPC support installed on the main computer (it's an option during installation).

JL

Re: A320 FMGS B35
Hi Daniele,
thanks for your sounds. Can these only be used for FS Cockpit hardware users or is there the chance to integrate them as well for others?
Thanks
Stefan

Re: A320 FMGS B35
Hello Daniele,
Very nice sounds once again! Had been a long time since we heard about you
I'l ltry to add those sounds in my sound module in a few weeks.
Right now I'm reworking the navdata sharing accross applications (to solve the ND not displaying the VORS/FIXes etc).
Best regards,
JL

Re: A320 FMGS B35
Hello Jeehell, Danielle and all!
If you work on the sound, please let me give two suggestions:
1.) To implement air condition sound is a great idea, it is really remarkable in RW and would add more realism.
Please keep in mind, that APU bleed or ENG bleed is needed in addition to the Pack switches and it automatically goes off with the ENG MODE selector is in start or in crank.
2.) A wave file called "combustion" is started at eng light up. Could you start this file at the end of engine start up, so we could implement a eng start sound, in which the combustion sound starts soft at light up and reaches idle loudness at the end of eng start?
Maybe you now that all and it is just one piece in a huge project, but the "simulation impression or feeling" would rise.
Thanks for all your efforts
Michael
