Two Pilots, One Plane, Two Locations?
Greetings Captains, I am once again attempting to tap into the hive mind that is known as Mycockpit.org. My son and I are separated by divorce and 1800 miles. He is now turning 5. I have been setting up a nice computer with video conferencing capabilities to bring down with me the next time I see him, and thought last night, how neat it would be if we could co-pilot the same aircraft over a network while video conferencing. Does anyone know if this is possible, and how to do it? I visualize using the exact same aircraft and both of us being able to operate the controls, switches and other items in the 2D view.I thought I had read a post on it some time ago but can not locate that post at any of the various forums.

If I am not mistaken. I heard FSX Multiplayer has this capability. But I use FS9 so I don't know..
Maybe someone else knows.________________________

It can be done with an add-on in FS9. Cockpit Buddy, or Flight Crew, or something similar. Delta VA uses it for the Flight Academy quite succesfully.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the program, but if you seek, you shall find.Boeing Skunk Works
Remember...140, 250, and REALLY FAST!
We don't need no stinkin' ETOPS!

Fs net is a pretty good program that will do everything you ask .
I tried it a couple of years ago,, seemed pretty good. You can hand off control to the person flying as co pilot and back again whenever you want.
