Seat Rails
Hi all,
Nearing the completion of my pilot seat made by using a simple car seat bolted on top of an mdf box. I come to the bottom.... the rails for movement just wondering what you lot are using for the cockpit seat movement. I have searched ebay under seat rails and similar but yeilded no positive results. i was thinking that rails would also help keep my the balance of seat right too and stop i tipping over by it being clamped into rails.
If anyone could give me some ideas that would greatly help.....
Geremy.

Do a search on e-bay under linear rails and blocks. There are a few pair selling at a starting price of $80 for a pair of rails and four blocks. These are very expensive to buy new, usually costing several hundred dollars each.
You can also browse around here: http://www.igus.com/show_dn.asp
