    727 Overhead question

I have not been able to find a clear picture of what is aft of the overhead. Anyone enlighten me please. And what is the function of this red/white item. Thanks for the pic Joe.

There is nothing aft of the overhead except a ceiling panel.

Some aircraft have dual speakers installed, some do not.

The seat balls are to adjust the seat to the correct eyepoint.

When the balls are in line and level, that's where your seat should be for the correct eyepoint.

You should just be able to see a bit of the nose and the top indicator on the APD.

I thought the seat balls might be something that simple. I have to type hanges aft of my overhead and just wondered what they might be for. Flush or formed panel?

It's formed. The center being depressed about 3/8" with a 2" raised border around the perimeter. The border fits flush with the rest of the ceiling panels.

All i can say is if my balls were in line with that Seat thingy I'd be a heck of alot higher than a few inches above the glare lol. If not I'd be in a heck of alot of discomfort and last thing I would be thinking about is my correct seat alignment LOL

Joe Maldonado (Project 727) was kind enough to send me the picture I was looking for. Man does he have one sweet looking 727.
