I tried the Beta exe (because I haven't had a response yet from my runtime 5 problem). The interesting thing here is that the unattached tab is active (but nothing in it). If I unplug the phidget controller it immediately "greys out". Anyway, at least it doesn't throw the runtime 5 error when I open the exe and the controller is plugged in. Where to from here? How do I get my assignments active?
