    My generic cockpit/mini 767

Hello everybody, been using the site for a while and I finally feel like my cockpit is ready to be shown.
It's rather generic looking but it's based on the B767 with the new flat panels.
    I'm using the Level-D 767 + niko's amazing lekseecon + opencockpit cards

The MIP is just foam board for now until I have the time to make something better!

This is my mini "overhead" just the basics to get me rolling from cold and dark

Landing gear with mechanical flaps gauge I made

Mechanical wet compass I made out of a real wet compass

My version of the 767 flat panel

    VRaircraft TQ

    Eyefinity View

The FMC is opencockipt and MCP is vrinsight

have lot of plans to keep building it. Comment and suggestions are welcomed!

    Re: My generic cockpit/mini 767

    Looks really good!

What is the material for the overhead? Is it sprayed or printed?

You mentioned it was based on the 767 with flat panels. Is this an airline upgrade on newer models of the 767? I didn't like the appearance of the old version very much, but if it now looks more like a 737 I could be encouraged, especially given the availability of the excellent Level D software and the Leescon package. Are you using the Level D gauges for the PF/ND?

    Re: My generic cockpit/mini 767

    thank you!
There is a flat panel version of the 767's and 757's (both very similar) I'm hoping level-d makes this panel for the new 757 but as of right now they don't have it so i made my own V/S and altimeter glass gauge to match the look. Still a work in progress but they are functional!
Everything else is level-d default gauges.
Here is a pic of the 757 flat panel

The overhead is just printed on photo paper then laid on plexiglass!

Here is a video of the wet compass and the flaps gauge I made. It only cost me around $80USD to make them both. Hope you like them!

    Re: My generic cockpit/mini 767

Great looking wet compass. I checked the YouTube version to see if you had any more details. You used a stepper motor and card. I know you would have had to take the compass apart to re-build it but do you have any more info you could share on it's construction. I'm thinking of doing the same kind of thing (adapting a real used compass). Would love to know how you did it?

    Thanks
    Ron
