Too many Spambots!

This is getting far too common:

Hi forum is good spamspamspamspamspam

or

Post 1: What is the best interface card for an analogue gauge?

Post 2: If you want the best in analogue gauges for your boat, then you should buy parts from such-and-such, functional parts guaranteed.

Something must be done about this. These Spambots are popping up all the time and making adverts on our forum. We need better protection to make sure that the people who are registering are real people and not bots.

And while you're protecting the forum, you should go out and grab a foot long sandwich from Subway. Eat fresh!

If for some reason I miss a spammer PLEASE use the "Report Post" (black triangle with ! mark in the center button).

We try to catch them all but some get buy. Our Spam-O-Matic program caught over 200 spammers so far today.

Oh, I didn't know about that button. I'm glad we have such good protection already, I never would have thought we had so many Spambot attempts,
