Learning the basics
Well, I thought I bought a suitable computer for Flt Sim X but was fooled by the Nvidia 8500GT graphics card. Although 8500 sounds like a high number, turns out it's a poor performer on the Video Cards list at Tom's. So, I've ordered the 8800 GTS. My Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital is also on its way. Will set up my 3 LG 19" monitors soon and figure out what & how I want to display. All this plus my existing CH Products yoke, rudder, and multi-engine throttle quadrant should have me flying with a basic set up. Next I'll explore these forums for actual cockpit ideas.
Would appreciate hearing from others on their use of Matrox TH2G with 3 monitors.
