Boeing Opencockpits AXIS / 24 button card

I've the OC axis card in use for the Nose wheel and autobrakes.
But I also use a couple of buttons where a strange effect occurs.

When I open the joystick control panel to check the connections and press a button the button in the control panel the button lights up, this is good.
But when I press a button another unused button lights up also.

I this the effect that the unused button in the matrix is an open connection or
    is the card simply broken....?

    Advise is appreciated

    Best regards,

    Bas

You have a wiring problem somewhere in your set-up. I had the same problem using real aircraft parts and traced it back to backfeeding in the ground circuits. Double ck all gnds, ground the usb connector housing.

    hi Rob,

Thanks for the advise, very useful.
Strange that in the installation instructions the grounding issue is not included.
To what GND did you connected the USB connector housing?

Thanks and its for me a relieve that the card is ok.

I grounded it the cockpit shell which was also ground to the power supplies for my sim. also double ck all solder joints and still may have to use isolation diodes. The OC stuff is very sensitive to switch ghosting.
