    I can't speak officially as I really do not know but I just got done working on interfacing an old program of mine with FSX and the SDK completely changed. The older versions of FS used NetPipes to make the connection to the sim. Microsoft scrapped that and now uses a new SDK with what they call SimConnect. So any program that communicated with the older versions of FS they will need updated to use the new SDK before they will work.

    FS2Phidgets uses FSUIPC technology.
    Correct question to ask:
    Is FSUIPC compatible with FSX ?
    Suggest having a look on FSUIPC web site.

    I can confirm, it works great with FSX and the new FSUIPC!! I got it all going today on my sim.
