New from Rome (Italy)
Hi all,
My name is Fabio and I am from Rome Italy, after so much lurking I decided to introduce myself. I am in the very first phase of building an home cockpit, so there are a lot of things yet to be decided.
I will go for a 737NG and I will use X-plane. Today I tried out a projector borrowed from a friend and yes it is amazing and that's the path I will follow (I was trying with 3 22" monitors but projector(s) really win ). The only problem I will have is space and short distance from the projector to the screen/panels (I would like to make a 180 degrees FOV), but that's an issue to be discussed in the right sections
So thanks to the people who made all this possible and will ask questions and help as much as I can.

Hi Fabio....
Great to see you on the forum, I really hope your NG project goes well especially that you are using X-Plane. I love X-Plane, its very technical at first but once set-up its great!
Keep us updated with your progress and great to see another x-plane user.
Good luck with your project.

Re: New from Rome (Italy)
Welcome Fabio
I have a question for you. My sim uses FSX and Xplane (depending on what i want to fly) the gauges i use in my pit are form FSXpand. What do you plan on doing for your glass cockpit?
Thanks.Mike G.

Re: New from Rome (Italy)
Ciao Mike,
for the glass cockpit I will be able to use either free solutions like vasFMC (beta 2 at the moment) which despite the name, has all needed for the glass cockpit of a boeing/airbus or something like projectmagenta (which in case I should test before buying as it is rather expensive).
