    Boeing boeing 737 control column

hi, could someone tell me the width of the control column in the 737, as i'm embarking on the yoke project and just need the right width pipe for the column. I'm sure someone gave me a site with all the measurements but i cant remember it and there's nothing else that will help in the downloads section.

    Thanks,

    Geremy

    Geremy,

    Go here: http://www.markuspilot.com/MarkusPilot.htm

It's all you will likely need for quite a while of 737NG building.

3" is about the going rate. At least it's easy to get PVC pipe in that size.

If the Boeing columns are not 3" they are darned close as I can't see any difference in mine or those that others have made from 3" PVC compared to photos of Boeing columns.

No one else will know if there is any difference either.

    You're probably right.

I found out they are 76mm in diameter, or about 1mm more than 3".

Gez, also,"Google" Universal Flight Controls, with a lot of digging around, one can find CAD drawings with dimensions on this site as well. Dig Deep.
