Strange problem on MCDU and lost sidestick/rudder control after takeoff
Hi, JL,
Last day I complete the flight, and close all computer without any problem.
And today I start the system, and set the FPln in MCDU for a new flight, and I got the screen with error message, please check attached image.
First time I see it, never happen before. And I did not change anything/setup after last day. Just power on the computer and start the system.
And another issue is, at ground all control is ok, sidestick, rudder, flaps, spoiler..... and speed up at rwy, and rotate, OK!
But after rotate, takeoff and climb, I lost all control immediately, all of them, and I noticed that the Clock's number, also stop. (I install clock, SD, EWD with the computer running FMGS server.)
last day all is ok, and today I start computer and have these problems happen.
Can't figure out why.

Same problem here. Is something date sensitive I wonder.

Re: Strange problem on MCDU and lost sidestick/rudder control after takeoff
Hello everyone,
First I wish you an happy new year, I hope you spent some good time with family and friends for the end of year celebrations.
There is however an URGENT matter with a year 2020 bug as many of you realsized already. From today, your sim most probably is unusable. You need to download 4 files from here:
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgqinWqhYcTFj8UR...40mSw?e=EfUwzH
And you put the 4 files everywhere you encounter adacalc.dll or adacalcfs.dll which is in the following folders at least:
- FMGS Server
- EIS
- EGPWS
- Navdata
The problem is from a magnetic variation mathematical model which became obsolete today, and it did not have a failproof mechanism if used after that limit date....
Best regards
JL

And if you rebuilt the navdata while thinking it was the issue, then it got corrupted so you need to rebuild the navdata again!
