Hello from Florida, USA
My name is Matt, I signed on this forum in hopes to connect with other simulator builders. I have been playing with computers, electronics and airplanes for a long time. Cant fly anymore so I decided to take my FlightSim to the next level with hardware representation and functionality. Last year I had a 62 inch projection display and 3 17" monitors for the cockpit gauges.
This year Im taking it to another level. Rather or not I am going to use this enclosure idea is up to you guys
It's hard to build somthing without money, the easiest solution would be to purchase everything. But Im too poor for that! ( Am disabled from a car accident in 2008 )
Here are a couple of pictures: Comments and ideas are appreciated. !
Thats all folks! Thanks for checking it out.

Re: Hello from Florida, USA
Welcome Matt,
A very nice setup to start with. You'll be surprised what an old joystick can do when you take it apart!!! When I started with my first pit I had one 15" monitor for the visual and the 2d cockpit view.I used the keyboard and mouse to control most of the FS functions. If I had to add one item to your sim it would be DIY TQ.
Good luck
PhilIF it's not Boeing I ain't going!!!!!!
