USB-VGA Adapter, save on buying extra video card!
Hey Everyone,
I'm not sure if anyone has covered this yet, but I was just watching YouTube videos and came across someone using a USB to VGA adapter. I thought this is a lot cheaper than adding another video card. So, if you have an old VGA monitor (CRT/LCD) and want to use it w/o buying a new card, here you go.
Better yet watch this video and see how this chap did a GPS for $27. Therefore, kudos to him for showing it out on YouTube:

Re: USB-VGA Adapter, save on buying extra video card!
I have seen these adapters everywhere, I think they are very underated, they are an excellent way to display external data, maybe not the fastest rates in the world but excellent for GPS etc.
Pro's - Low power, external plug and play, no fitting
Con's - Cant think of many, uses one extra usb port (no problem) slower acceleration maybe!
I think the guy in the you tube video has a nice little pit there! (although I would mount the yoke into the MIP if I could).
Excellent video of a simple pit!GA or the Highway!
