IOCModules & Rotary Selector for the Flaps
Hi,
I use two Airbus Radio modules from open cockpits. I run iocmodules on my computer. Is something to consider in relation to FMGS?
I use a Rotary Selector and not a potentiometer for the flaps. So far this was connected to an FDS-SYS3 Card. Within InterfaceIT I had been assigned the offset 08DC with a value to each position. Does FMGS also provide an offset for the flaps?
Regards
Fritz

Re: IOCModules & Rotary Selector for the Flaps
I've seen that with IITcreator I can assign a switch to a flap position. InterfaceIT is no longer necessary.
The Airbus radio works well so far. Only the automatic frequency adjustment function does not work, but
this is currently not supported, I guess. For now Problems are solved.

Re: IOCModules & Rotary Selector for the Flaps
Hi,
I don't know much about the OC radio module. It will most probably work correctly with the VHF1 and 2. However, concerning the NAV1, NAV2 and ILS receivers, it most probably won't be compatible, as FS only provides NAV1 an 2 and no ILS. Son in my software I had to calculate VOR positions internally, not using FS. Only the ILS is taken from FS's NAV1 receiver.
Since most of the time NAV are tuned from the MCDU, it's no big deal, but I planned to add external support for those modules as well. Don't know when though.
Concerning the flaps, I will try to add that function in next version, or maybe the next one.
EDIT: concerning the flaps, you're right, I had forgot about it...
Cheers,
