Look what I got for my Flight sim setup!

Im gonna add this in a few weeks if the guy can get a BUN0836 or wutever its called.

I spent a pretty penny on it, it was either this or a FiveseveN handgun but seeing as how seldomly I go to the range I thought I would get one of these, it cost me more than 2 weeks worth of pay, but I know it will be worth it for all the flight simming my dad and I plan on doing and the immersion Im going for when I fly.

^We decided to eliminate the zoom in and normal view features because next generation of flight
sim will allow me to zoom in on the gunsight using my track IR.

Its Numca_CS's flight console, Im having him do a 2nd version of the original built just for me, including a few extra buttons like one for brakes, external viewing of the aircraft and the bombsight. Were including small keys for the ignition of the aircraft that look to be removable just like on a real airplane.

Its costing me more than all my other flight sim hardware combined, but Im sure Ill get lots of flight simming use out of it in the end.

Thought I would gloat a bit, lookforward to showing off the final product.

Now all I need to complete it is a wooden cockpit, One of these motion flight simulators
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBD9Juqx7PI
and a pilot releif tube for hours of uninterupted flying.

BTW, heres a pic of my current flight sim setup prior to getting the flight console minus the track IR5 (got that days after I took this pic)

Looks like something that drives a crane or JCB tractor, never seen anything like it before, so thanks for showing it to us all!

Very interesting, that emergency stop button is pretty crazy!

    Good stuff all in all!

    Cheers,

I wish I could take credit for it, no Im just buying one off the guy who built it, a revised version, possibly better than the original. I added in a few buttons like brake, bombsight, center track IR and external view

Looks pretty cool for a new kit. I'm assuming it's targeted at people who fly P-38?

No, theres only 1 of these in the world as of now. Its all custom built from plexiglass, laser cutting and dials, buttons and LED lights. Im having him build #2 of 2 in the world for me, hes a mechanical engineer that built it himself.

When I first saw it, I thought the quality was so high that it had to be store bought.

I think there would be a market for these for anyone that combat flight sims and would like a more immersed feel than a keyboard has to offer.
