Gear Lights
Ok all you Boeing drivers. I have my Gear annunciators all programed and working. Now for the question, how long do the red annunciators stay on after the gear locks in the up position? Or does it stay that way untill the gear is turned off and the hydolics are released in the gear?

I reckon they would stay on until the lever is put back to off. Can you explain how you made these lights work Bob? I know I will need an output module, but where do you go from there? I often read about offsets but no one has offered to explain this mystery to the mechanical engineer!

Well.... I am not using offsets to light them. I am using Qprocs. I am not sure your boards use them. If they don't I can try to tell you how to do it with an offset but it is not as easy but very doable. Does your drop down software have the gear in it? It is a pretty fundamental thing to want to do and I would think it would be in there.

I found this text in the B737 Continental POH:
===================
Landing Gear Indicator Lights (Top)
Illuminated (red)
landing gear is not down and locked (with either or both forward thrust levers retarded to idle, and below 800 feet AGL).
BCD landing gear is not down and locked (with either or both forward thrust levers retarded to idle and below 800 feet AGL).
related landing gear is in disagreement with LANDING GEAR lever position (in transit or unsafe).
Extinguished -
landing gear is up and locked with landing gear lever UP or OFF.
landing gear is down and locked with landing gear lever DN.
Landing Gear Indicator Lights (bottom)
Illuminated (green) related gear down and locked.
Note: Landing gear warning horn is deactivated with all gear down and locked.
Note: Landing gear is down and locked when a green landing gear indicator light (center panel) for each gear is illuminated.
Extinguished landing gear is not down and locked.
===============
I couldn't find any timing information so as soon as the gear is safely up and locked then the red lights go out. Every plane is probably different in which gear gets up first and how fast or slow.

I think I would only see the Output drop down lists if I had an output module connected which I don't have yet. It's not on my immediate wish list I'm doing my overhead at the moment, also flap and speedbrake levers for Trevor!!!
