FDSConnectX
Hello all,
I would like to announce that we at Flight Deck Sofware are working on a X-Plane plugin that will allow everyone to connect their existing addons using FSUIPC to X-Plane. At this moment our own software is already communicating with X-Plane for some variables.
Please check our site for updates about this project:

Thats fantastic news Bart,
Do you have any sort of estimate on what percentage of the FSX FSUIPC offsets that you think you will be able to make available from X-Plane.

Hi Dave,
My first target is to make all the variables that I need for my software available, and this seems to go well. I hope to achieve more than 50-60% of the offsets, but I could be totally wrong and have more or less.
At this moment I'm already in the possibility to fly with my software (Glass Flight Deck) manually.
I will contact Austin about all the offsets that are still missing in X-Plane to see if we can get them out of X-Plane.
Best regards,

Status update
Hello all,
After a weekend of hard work yesterday evening we made our first flight with X-Plane and Glass Flight Deck on autopilot.
Apart from the autopilot that needs some tuning to work together with flight model used (the x737 project) everything went very well.
Most data needed for the software is available and working and also performance wasn't an issue (2 opengl programs running smoothly next to each other on the same PC without problems).
Next step will be extending the offset list and also create the applications necessary to run over the network (FDSWideConnectX).
Best regards,
Bart Devriendt

Great News!
I'm a current PM customer, but would migrate over to your stuff if it works with Xplane. The whole glass issue has kept me with FSX for sometime, so I'd welcome this!

Hi folks,
that's GREAT news; especially after the rencent Microsoft announcement to abandon FS developments on the PS. Austin's fly engine is marvellous and I'm sure that if the entire community concentrates on his sim, it will drastically evolve and provide a replacement for MSFS in a mid term future.
So, go ahead !!!!
