New Build with NAV TEST and WX TEST - Question!
Hi,
does anyone noticed the new NAV TEST shown in the ND?
Is there any Offset for it. Will it work with CPFlight NAV Hardware (first version).
Any informations about this nice feature would be great.
Best regards

Re: New Build with NAV TEST and WX TEST - Question!
Can't speak to the wx radar test, but I have both NAV TEST buttons working with CPFlight hardware. Updated the MCP and both GC instances and it worked perfectly with no further setup required.

My CPFlight hardware connects via USB, but is assigned a COM port.

Re: New Build with NAV TEST and WX TEST - Question!
There's a TEST button on the frontplate of each NAV radio. Test simply emits a UHF signal from somewhere on the aircraft (I'm not sure where) to cause the RMI VOR 1/2 needle to point to exactly 180 degrees. If an ILS is tuned, both the localizer and glideslope will move to 1 dot off center. The TEST function is basically to allow you to verify that a signal has been emitted and, indeed, the NAV radio is recognizing it.

Thanks Chris...
Does someone found the corresponding offsets? I would like to call the test from SIOC.
