Hi peter

thanks for sending me the wxr program

i got it half working

it says " connected to fs ready"

and the Built in weather display shows radar weather

but I can get it to send the bitmap radar image fime
to Project magenta Netdir
inorder for the weather to show in Project magentas ND didplay


can you post the lines from your config file in this thread

I can then see if ive set it up correctly

Hi Harry,

here´s what I have in the sa_wxr.cfg:

Alternate Window Name = sa_wxr
TitleBar visible = 1
Focus Change Event = 0
Bitmap Export Directory = C:\CDU\NETDIR
Disable Output when in Bitmap Export Mode = 1
Get PM Range = 1
Simulate current PM WX Mode = 1
Set PM Update Rate = 7
Autostart = 0
GCS at startup = 0
OFP at startup = 0
Use new command based communication = 1

Make sure to set the correct network path of your NetDir and that it´s shared correctly over the network.
Mine for example is on the Pc where the CDU and sa_wxr reside.

Don´t recall where I got those tips from, but any way worth reading. May be it could help getting you going.

save and use same config in sa_wxr.cfg
and start the program
